A claw is a curved, pointed appendage, found at the end of a toe or finger in most amniotes (mammals, reptiles, birds).
The eagle has very specially adapted large, clawed feet which are known as talons.
If eagles did not have curved claws than -
• It will unable to catch the prey.
• It will unable to sit on branches.
