Hypothesis,
The earth is the third planet in our solar system which has life on it.Although there is no evidence of life in the solar system except of earth but we are not 100% sure about it.
The blue planet which has air ,soil and water is where we live. The circumstances like the rotation of the earth also the perfect distance from the sun is a very important factor in survival our infact all the beings on earth.
It has winds that flow, rains that flood the every corner of it making it green and pleasant. It has day and night and much more.
But the thing we will talk is nither a scienfiction nor the future.
It's fun to really think like that, and a good way see our palnet and the solar system.
Now, moving to the actual question if the earth stops rotating from a speed near to 1760km/hr (in the equator) to zero the affects will be apocalyptic.
Suddenly the whole world would experience a force and will push everyone at the speed near to 1760km/hr because of inirtia. The wind will flow crazily and it might be more bizzar than the cyclone or Tornado. There will be the biggest tsunami of the history. But the effects in the poles might not be so fatal.Because at the poles the speed of rotation is very less.
The day and night occurs because the earth rotates its axis.If it stopes the day and night would be for about 6 months. And the side facing the sun will turn into a desert because of the continuous sunlight that will it suffer and the side opposite to it will turn very cold because of the continuous shadow that will turn it into an icey cold place which will make it so hard for life to really sustain there.
But chill,(≧∇≦)b it's not any reality just hypothesis.
Don't be scared because the earth is slowing down,ya it's true!According to a study day is getting longer in 2.3 milliseconds in every hundred years.
But no need to worry the earth is slowing so slowly that we won't really experience it .
That's it
Hope it helped Σ(゚Д゚)
