if farmers cultivate the same type of crop the following situations may arise:
1.The soil will loose its fertility because thought year crop will absorbs same nutrients from the soil. So the nutrients will be exhausted in soil.
2.continuous cultivation of same type of crop can lead to buildup of pest and insects .
3.productivity rate will decrease will affects economic development of country.
4. Farmer income will be decreased.

By continuing to grow a same type of crop leads to the erosion of soil. As all the nutrients will be picked up by the crop and the and will be left barren and than the crop cultivated will not grow well. The pest and insects will raise in the soil which comes on that particular soil. There will be no seasonal support for the crops and you cant grow summer crops in winter
