If HCL will not present in our stomach then the germs in our stomach will not be killed as HCL helps in cleaning of bacteria and germs.

Is HCl is not produced in the stomach the germs like bacteria which is present along with food may not be killed or destroyed.... The enzymes like pepsin will not be activated as the activation of pepsin takes place during the presence of HCl..... hence protein digestion does't take place...

Hope this helps uh
