If himalayas doesn't exist India would suffer in the following ways :-
1. There would be no barrier in the north India that separates it from mid Asian countries and they can invade India easily.
2. Monsoon clouds will pass through without much rain because himalayas act as a barrier for then.
3. As the himalayas give rise to many perennial rivers. Thus, if the himalayas would not exist these rivers would not exist, so there would be scarcity of water due to which agriculture would also suffer.
Thus, we can conclude that himalayas are very important to India as it helps us in many ways.
