They would then most likely arrange a meeting with you where the other "accidentally" showed up, and they would both confront you about why you hired them to tail each other, and they might share some of what they discovered about you in the process.

They would quickly realise that you are attempting to troll them and would file a complaint with the court!
You'd probably waste money and end up with nothing.
If they were any good, they would do a quick check and discover that the other is a PI, then return to you and inquire as to why you are having them investigate the other.
Then again, they might already know each other.
The better of the two would be the first to figure out that the other is also a private investigator and that you hired him/her to track them down.
