Lysosome contains very powerful enzymes which can eat up other organelles. So if lysosome was not bound by a membrane,it would have destroyed all the other organelles and eventually the cell.

If a membrane is bounded for the lysosome then it eat up other organelles.

Explanation:

Lysosomes are the enzymes which are bounded by the membrane.

It is an enzymes which would help in the breaking down of all kinds of biological polymers lie proteins, carbohydrates, nucleic acids, and lipids.

It contains about 50 different types of degenerative enzymes.

It contains a vast variety of acid hydrolases which are active at the PH level.

The action of proton is a resultant of the acidic internal PH.
