You can predict the result when there were no non-metals on earth by the facts that the first and very basic and very very important compound that initiated life on planet earth was ammonia (NH3) which is a compound that is toatlly made up of non-metals. Now I think that you can predict that if there were no non-metals on earth then surely there were no life existed on earth like present.

metals are present in the form of minerals. which are required by living things to survive on earth. If there is no metal or no minerals they led to non fertility of land which causes no vegetation which means not a single living thing can survive
