✔Loss if water from leaves through stomata is called transpiration.

✔plants require water for photosynthesis.

✔During transpiration, the loss if water from the leaves generates a kind of suction that pulls the water from the roots upto the leaves .

✔Thus if plants won't lose water leaves won't get water for photosynthesis..

Explanation:

When plants are not watered properly they wilt. ... When a plant is properly hydrated, there is enough water pressure to make the leaves strong and sturdy; when a plant doesn't get enough water, the pressure inside the stems and leaves drops and they wilt. Plants also need water for photosynthesis.
