What would happen if ribosomes were destroyed?

The main function of Ribosomes is to manufacture proteins. Proteins are used for several functions from cell respiration to muscle building. Hence, if Ribosomes were destroyed, Proteins wouldn't be made in our body, which would have a negative effect on the structure of our bodies.
