If same amount of digestive juices are produced irrespective of food quantity, then the following things will happen -

• The digestive juice contains hydrochloric acid for the food digestion purposes.

• Now,the amount of acid formation in the digestive juice is generally dependent on the amount of consumed food which needed to be digested.

• Now,if the digestive juice production becomes constant, irrespective of the food amount, then it will create excessive acidity when we consume less amount of food and it will cause incomplete digestion when we consume excessive amount of food.

• So,the whole digestion process will be disturbed.
