What if the earth did not rotate on its axis?

The earth would be dark on one side and light on the other for three months. The earth would still be revolving around the sun so one part of the earth would get sunlight for three months.

People would have a hard time sleeping on one side of the earth because of constant daylight, and a hard time staying awake on the other side because of constant night.

What if the earth did not revolve around the sun?

The earth would be stuck in one season all the time because it would not go around the sun to be in a different spot. For example, we could be stuck closer to the sun and have summer all year long. Or, we could be stuck farther from the sun and have winter all year

We would not have days, weeks, months or years because the earth would not go around the sun.
