For starters, the worldwide system of time zones (created to adjust local time based on the Earth's rotation) would change drastically. A day would last a year (it would now take 365 days for the sun to return to its original place in the sky). Crops would wither. We'd all need to slather on heavy- duty sunscreen to survive six months of sunlight before bun- dling up for six months of night. The good news is that this nightmare scenario is a virtual impossibility.

Earth is a unique planet in the whole universe..as the life is possible on earth. As we know, Earth revolves around sun(revolution) and also it rotates itself (rotation).

Seasonal changes occurs due to Revolution and The Day-time changes due to rotation.

If the earth suddenly stops rotation..then the change of day and night will not be happend. Also, it affects the revolution!

Then, the disturbances in seasonal changes occurs..These disturbances creates a huge disasters and calamities on the earth surface..
