what would happen if the earth was tilted more than 23.5 degrees?

the 23.5 degrees tell it is responsible for the seasons. if the earth had no tilted there would be no seasons. if the earth was stated by 90° for example , the seasonal changes would be at the most extreme. the earth pole wood. directly at the sun at a point on the track around the sun
