What would happen if the heart chambers wouldn't be separated by septum?

Answer:

if the heart is not separated with the septum the blood both the oxygenated and de oxygenated would mix together. and it will cause some major defects in the heart. it helps in the right functioning of the heart . so the septum is therefor needed. it creates a barrier between the ventricles of the heart.
