⏬⏬Hey mate⏬⏬

〰The Himalayas have shaped the climate of the Indian subcontinent drastically!!

They block all the cold icy winds coming from central Asia and Tibet, thus preventing snowfall and super cold climate in central and southern India.

Secondly, many great rivers have origins in glaciers of Himalayas, like Ganga and Yamuna, whose basins create the Northern plains with rich alluvial deposits.

There are many other things that would have been different with absence of The Himalayas.

I’ve only mentioned a couple of geological changes that would take place, but considering the influence of these mountains on the history and culture of both India and Tibet, a lot of things could have been very different.

✌ Hope it helps ✌

If India doesn’t have Himalayas, the country would probably experience two type of climate. The temperate climate in the north and tropical climate in the south.

Most of monsoon winds which were created from the Indian ocean are capable of moving north and the Himalayan mountains are capable of blocking the cold winds from moving apart from the country,

Apart from the trade winds India’s climate is majorly influenced by Himalayas and the Indian Ocean.
