Thank you for asking this question.

Phosphorus is the key nutrient for the growth of algae and plants. In the absence of phosphorus, plants will wither away and their growth will be stopped which in turn will be the cause of eliminating oxygen from Earth.

No oxygen means , human beings and other living things on earth woukld not be able to survive.

Important life sustaining molecules which are common in biosphere are also formed by phosphorus.

Phosphorus, in ion form is very essential and important nutrient of both animals and plants. In absence of phosphorus, our plants will not be able to grow and produce oxygen. And oxygen is a vital nutrient in all the living processes.
