What would happen if there are no carnivores in the world

If there were no carnivores, the herbivore populations would increase and they will rapidly consume large amounts of plants, Eventually, the herbivores would starve, leaving only those plants that were distasteful or poisonous to them. And as a result humans would not be able to survive
