There is will be a lot of chaos.  People who don't know about the unavailability of fuel will stand in lines at the petrol pumps.  People who had tankfuls of petrol/diesel in their vehicles will continue using vehicles, but with more care.

Then the traffic problems will ease.  Public transport will continue for some time.  More people will use the trains.  Children and adults alike will use bicycles a lot, even to the office, like in clean European towns.

The roads will look like those four decades ago.  There will be less dust in the atmosphere.

Many persons perhaps will have difficulty in reaching their offices.  Perhaps electricity will continue.  So people based on internet will do good work.  Some schools may get holidays.  Electric vehicles and CNG based vehicles will continue running.

More people will think of good ways of transport.
