That will happen eventually, but not for a very long time (and when a geologist says ‘a very long time’, we mean REALLY a VERY LONG time).
When that happens, that will mean that the heat in the core and mantle will have dissipated to the point that mantle heat circulation has stopped. The earth’s tectonic plates will no longer move. Heat (and elements) from the earth’s inner portions will no longer augment the surface chemistry.
Gradually, the whole earth would die. This will - geologically speaking - take a very long time.
Now if you are planning to magically stop the current volcanoes from operating, THEN you will set up an unfortunate scenario, leading to violent explosive activity - I don’t think that would be a good idea at all.
