Answer:

Explanation:

If the Earth didn’t have gravity, there would be no Earth.

Gravity is what holds the Earth together. So without it, there would be nothing but gas, and it wouldn’t be in a ball like Jupiter. It would just be gone.

Unless we are speculating that the Earth existed, and then gravity became non-existent. In which case we would need to know…

Does the Sun still exist, and have gravity as normal?

Does the Moon still exist, and have gravity as normal?

And whether when the gas that the Earth would become, behave as normal gas whereby the individual molecules would once again have gravity? That’s important.

If the Earth existed, and then somehow, in some way, the gravitational property of the Earth’s molecules ceased to exist, and remained gone, Earth would dissipate. Blown apart by the vibration of heat, with nothing to prevent it. And the debris should continue on an outward trajectory in every direction, not caring about the Sun and Moon, who’s gravity would not attract the Earth debris/gas which would not respond to their gravitational pull.

If the Earth existed, and then somehow, in some way, the gravitational property of Earth matter disappeared temporarily, we would need to know the duration of the absence of gravity. If it were momentary, it would cause havoc, and then things would resettle. If not momentary, the radius of Earth would expand. And when the gravitational property of Earth’s molecules was re-instated, then depending on the diameter of the ball of molecules, it might get sucked into the Moon’s gravity well. If the diameter of the ball was larger, then whatever molecules didn’t get sucked up by the Moon would be attracted to the next most significant gravitational object. The Sun. Or if the time had been long enough, and the diameter of the ball of magical gravity free particles large enough, other objects in the Solar system would suck the material up after gravity turned “back on”.

If the Sun and Moon’s gravity also failed, then the solar system itself dissipates. Blown apart by heat vibration/energy, with nothing to stop them either.

These are just thoughts off the top of my head. And it’s hard to say, because of the unknowns of the hypothesized situation.

Others may have different thoughts. Maybe better ones.

If I think of other factors, I’ll come back and add them.
