What would happen to a population of rabbits if the number of foxes, a predator of rabbits, increased?

If a species's natural predator population increases, the species population will proportionately decrease. Same is the case with rabbits and foxes. foxes, preying on rabbits, will decrease their population because of greater demand due to increase in number of foxes
