Golgi apparatus is responsible for the production of lysosomes and for the final processing of proteins. If there was no Golgi apparatus, then the above two functions can't happen and also complex sugars cannot be converted into simpler sugars.

Functions of Golgi Apparatus are:
1)It acts as an assembly area for the storage, processing and packaging of various cellular secretions. Hence the main function of Golgi body is secretory
2)It produces vacuoles or secretory vesicles which secretes cellular secretions
3)It is also involved in the synthesis of cell wall, plasma membrane and lysosomes
Due to these reasons it is also called post office of cells
So if Golgi apparatus will not be there then the cell will not be able to perform the functions stated above
