what would happen to the roots if the tissues damage

if tissues get damaged ,the roots will get damaged and the plants grows slows.and if tissues get damaged, the root won't get the water properly. and the root will unable to supply the water to the plant and the without water the plants cannot prepare there food
if tissue get damaged there will be a lot of problem to roots and even plant also
