what would happen to the temperature of the earth if their were no atmosphere on earth

If there would be no atmosphere then it would too hot in days and too cold at nights.

If there is no atmosphere, days would be very hot and night would be very cold.

Why??
The different layers of the atmosphere have different densities, so sun rays refract and finally reach the earth. Now if the atmosphere is absent, the sun rays will directly reach the earth making it too, too hot (above 90°C).

At night, the atmosphere traps the heat. If the Atmosphere is absent, heat won't Be trapped and temperature will go below 0°C.
