When a eukaryotic cell is placed in hypertonic solution it will shrink as water has tendency to move out of cell due to exosmosis to balance the concentration of solute.
In Hypotonic solution it will swell due to endosmosis.
Its remains the same in isotonic solution.
In Hypotonic solution it will swell due to endosmosis.
