If mitochondria is present in RBCS, then there would be a Difficiency of Space for Haemoglobin. it will affect the proper Oxygen carring capacity of RBCs. ... So, if mitochondria are present in them, then the cells shortly will be modified to make a use of Cytoplasm too for energy generation by Glycolysis.
