- I'd have been indignant. I would have confronted the person whose name was on my plants, yelled at her, and attempted to get her to confess to robbing me. In an effort to humiliate her into confessing her crime, I would have also railed against the organizers with a loud complaint.
- Revathi took out her violin and began to play "raga Mohanam" in an effort to persuade the organisers. Her balsam plants turned to face her and reached out to her as though mesmerised by the music. The organisers, who witnessed this miracle, were immediately persuaded and censured the neighbour. They crowned Revathi the competition's victor.
- This tale teaches us that even plants enjoy listening to good music. Revathi's musical plants demonstrate a lovely connection between musical composition and plant behaviour. Revathi raises a few plants in a small container for her "best plant competition." When she plays Raga Mohanam on her violin, the plants sway in her direction.
- Revathi was able to claim her plants thanks to her convictions-driven attitude. She was confident that her plants loved music and would respond the same way they always had to her favourite raga. There was no use of magic.
