If India had not been a democratic country and government, then it would have been a haphazard ruling. There are 29 states altogether and if it was not a democratic government, it would have been difficult to govern these states separately. Population would have increased like the speed of rocket. Due to India's enormous natural resources, invasions takes place which eventually lead to slavery. There will no central body to maintain the laws and rules of the government. There will be no unity in diversity exists anymore if India doesn't follow the democratic rule.
