What would have happened if meiosis is not occur during the production of human sperm cell and egg cell

If meiosis does not occurs in egg cell or sperm cell then the chromosomes fails to separate. and non-disjunction takes place due to non-separation of chromosomes which lead to disorders like XXY ,XXYY
