What would I do when I see my classmate tear pages from library book

I would just stop him there it self so that he will stop tearing pages. I would say him not to tear pages from library books because these books are used by every one so they might not get the complete information from the books so I would say him not to tear pages from library books, and even I will tell him that if he does the same he might be in trouble so I would say not to tear pages of the library books.
