In fact, Mahatma Gandhi believed that every religion preaches and propagates same ethical values and must guide the political actions of the politicians in the service of the people. He viewed religion and politics inseparable where the former brings a sense of morality in politics.

if politics and religion are not separated then many problems shall b created such as the political leaders using the religion to b elected which would later create riots around the various parts of the nation.
