What would jave erupted in south africa if the black majority had decided to take revenge on the whites for all their opression and exploitation?

if black had not forgiven the whites for all the oppression and decide to take revenge on them there would have been bloodshed everywhere.it could lead to the division  of the country and there will be no more united and peaceful south Africa. the black community will follow the policy of non-violence in there freedom struggle.
