A person who is not getting the required amino acids in his body will go weak and his cells, tissues and muscles will start wasting away. Many of his body functions will slow down and gradually cease, which could be fatal.

Amino acids are the building blocks of proteins and proteins play a vital role in the development, growth and functioning of the living body.

Examples of food that provide amino acids to the human body are milk, yoghurt, cheese etc.
