If the colonies had lost the revolution or had not even rebelled in the first place, England would have likely curbed insubordinate Americans and elevated supporters to run the state.
The US perhaps would have been converged with Canada into one monster North American territory. The gigantic region would have expanded Britain's energy considerably more in Europe.
