What would the government use the money collected from farmers as land revenue? Do we in modern-day India also pay part of our earnings to the government?

The Government use the land revenue collected by farmer's in the development of the nation like :-
Construction Purposes, lifting the Army Standards, Making Weapons and for fund sharing.
Yes, In modern day in India we also pay part of our earnings as income tax which is to be cut from our salary. Various other types of taxes are also there which are included in indirect taxes like GST which is to be taken for the sell and purchase of goods. There are two categories of GST which are :-
1. S GST
2. C GST
