Former President A P J Abdul Kalam on Wednesday disclosed that in 1950s while he was a student in the Madras (rpt) Madras Institute of Technology (MIT),he had worked non-stop for three-days on a project to save his

scholarship.

Speaking at the second convocation of the North Eastern Regional Institute of Science and Technology(NERIST) here Kalam said at MIT he was assigned a project to design a low-level attack aircraft together with six other colleagues by his design teacher Prof Srinivasan.
