Since Mrs. Pumphrey's over pampering to her dog, Tricky could endanger its life, I would have done the following things:
As a member of her staff: I would have pleaded and advised Mrs. Pumphrey not to spoil the dog's health with over eating. I would have taken the dog to long walks and made it do jumping, running, etc.
As a neighbor: If I were her neighbor, I would have advised Mrs. Pumphrey during our gossip time that she could lose her pet, which could make her lonely and sad.
I hope either as a staff member at her house or as a neighbor i would try to help her keep her dog healthy.
Answer:
1)If I had been member of Mrs. Pumphrey’s household, I would have felt very happy. Things would have been very royal at times. As her only concern would have Tricki, so they could have enjoyed royal treat. At time her behaviour could have been also a nuisance. Her over-concern would have made her angry at the slightest negligence.
2)Being her neighbour it would have been a great disturbance. There would have been chaos all around. I would never wish to be a neighbour to Mrs pumphrey.
