If there were no political parties existing in India then following situations will have been created
. every candidate in the elections will be independent so no one will be able to make major policy changes
. governments utility will remain uncertain
. political executives will be accountable only to their constituency
. no one will be responsible how the country will run and the country may split into more than one faction ,each of which puts up candidates of that region to form the govt
. there won't be anyone to play the role of opposition
. no one will shape public opinion and no one will crystallise the opinion of society.
. centralisation of power may take form.
