The rigid outer part of the earth, consisting of the crust and upper mantle which is the home of humans and many plants and animals is Lithosphere.

Hydrosphere is made up of all the water bodies on the earth such as lakes, seas glaciers, water valour. 71 percent of the earth's surface form the hydrosphere.

Atmosphere is the gaseous layer which surrounds the earth, made up of troposphere, stratosphere, mesosphere and exosphere.

Biosphere is a narrow zone of air, water and land where living organism exist making the earth a unique planet. The biosphere is as important as life itself because it is all of life. Without biosphere the earth would be a lifeless planet.
