Explanation:
The Jat people (Hindi pronunciation: [dʒaːʈ]) are a community of traditionally non-elite peasants in Northern India and Pakistan.[a][b][c] Originally pastoralists in the lower Indus river-valley of Sindh, Jats migrated north into the Punjab region in late medieval times, and subsequently into the Delhi Territory, northeastern Rajputana, and the western Gangetic Plain in the 17th and 18th centuries.[4][5][6] Of Muslim, Sikh, and Hindu faiths, they are now found mostly in the Pakistani provinces of Sindh and Punjab and the Indian states of Punjab, Haryana, Uttar Pradesh and Rajasthan.

People have many wrong perceptions about jaats.
1. They think that we get into fights easily. But the truth is its the last option for us.
2. They think we are rude. Truth is the haryanvi accent is like this.
3. They think that we don't respect girls. Now that is the biggest misconception about us.
4. They think that we have attitude. Truth is we are very down to earth people. We only show attitude who show attitude to us.
5. They think that we are strong. Well truth is yes we are as we are conscious about our health and diet. Its in our genes. That is why we produce so many sports person and soldiers.
6. Jaats are also known for their friendship and their enemies. What ever it is they do it by heart. No double faces.
7. They think that we don't give freedom to girls. I accept it was true at a time but not now. Jaat girls are given all the freedom they want. Shackles have been broken long back.
Moreover, we are humans and as humans its in our nature to evolve. Jaat too have evolved from those old misconceptions and its time for people, who have wrong thinking about us, should come out of it.
