We actually don't see light for eg
Can you see a bullet fired at the speed of 330 m/s no you just can't
Or else people would escape it easily things are pretty much difficult to see when it crosses certain limit of speed and oscillation we don't see light or photons we see their reflection when they hit anything we just see it's reflection not the actual Photon hitting

What your eye detects are the photons reflected or emitted by the objects around you. Your eyes signal your brain that they have detected photons of different wavelengths (colors) and intensity. Your brain interprets the signals your eyes send and you see a picture in your mind of what is around you.
