I completely understand what you are feeling… even I have felt the same.
The feeling of sadness comes from the extreme empathy you have for old and poor people…
It is also a sign that you are very emotional and truly connect with them on a deeper level & also shows that you want to really help them and make them feel alright…
It is a good sign that you do feel something for the old and poor…and there is nothing wrong with it…it shows you sympathise with them in some way or other….
All you can do is…try and help them in whichever way possible, be it even as small as doing something really small to bring a smile on their face…
According to me….if u really wanna help people….its not necessary to be rich (as there are many rich people who don’t really empathise with them)
If you want to really help people…all you have to be is kind and generous…
Whenever you come across such people please make a small silent prayer... ask god to improve their lives and keep them safe…
Also, from your end, you can also help them monetarily or by simply spending time with them…
