bilateral symmetry means a thing which can be divided into two halves.for example human body.another example heart shape i.e love shape .in middle if we cut it can be divided into two equal halves.
the second comment is a wrong one!!!the right is that anterior means front and posterior means back

anterior and ventral mean front of the body..and posterior and dorsal mean the back of the body!
