A Pythagorean Triplet is a set of 3 numbers, such that the square of the first two numbers added together is the square of the third number.
The sides of a right angle are always Pythagorean Triplets.
It got its name from the Pythagorean Theorem.

Answer:

A set of 3 numbers that make a right triangle

Step-by-step explanation:

The Pythagorean Theorem is a^{2} + b^{2} = c^{2}. This leaves space for three numbers to be inserted where the letters are. These numbers are called a Pythagorean Triple. An example of this would be 6, 8, and 10.

6^{2} + 8^{2} = c^{2}  In order to make sure you have a Pythagorean Triple you have to be able to check the numbers which is why I didn't fill in c with the number 10.

You then square the numbers and still leave c blank because that is the number we are checking. After that you add the numbers you squared.

6^{2} = 36\\8^{2} = 64\\36 + 64 = c^{2}    36 + 64 = 100\\   100=c^{2}  Now for the final step and how to solve for c you     find the square root of 100 and the square root of c. Since c is not a number it's square root will be c. \sqrt{100} = 10\\\sqrt{c}  = c There is the answer 6^{2}+ 8^{2}= 10^{2}
