what is zero potential?
Ans: An electric charge is said to possess zero potential when it is infinitely far away from other charges. In such cases, if the charge is moved towards a positive charge the the potential will increase from zero to a positive value, similarly if it moved towards a negative charge the potential will decrease from zero to a negative value.
