Hello mate

double \: displacement \: reaction

❤️ A chemical reaction in which two compounds in their aqueous solution interchange their ions to form new compounds is called a double displacement reaction or double decomposition reaction.

example -

AB + CD -> AD + CB.

reduction

❤️ Reduction is the reverse of oxidation. A chemical process that involves the addition of hydrogen or the removal of oxygen is called reduction.

 example -

✨ Removal of oxygen

CuO + H2 -> Cu + H2O

✨ Addition of hydrogen

H2 + Cl2 -> 2HCL
