Here is your answer .... :-)
Euclid 's division lemma states that if "a" and "b" are two positive intergers then there exist unique intergers q and r satisfying :
a = bq + r
where value of r will be equal to = 0 and less than b.
I.e 0 < r < b
For example....
If a is equal to 3q + r
then , here ' b' is equal to 3
and r can take value of 0, 1 and 2.
