✨As the diaphragm contacts it increases the diameter and length of the chest cavity and thus expands lungs. This reduces the pressure outside the lungs.

✨To equalise this pressure the air enters through our lungs .When the diaphragm relaxes and moves backs up, the elasticity of lungs and chest push the air out of the lungs.

✨This process repeats and is called Respiration.
