Khadar soils are formed of newer alluvium while Bhangar are composed of older deposits.
Crops can be easily grown on Khadar soil while Bhangar needs fertilisers
Khadar soils is purely alluvium deposits while Bhangar contains lime nodules or kankars.
Khadar soil is renewed every year while Bhangar is the continous deposition and hence less fertile than Khadar
